Teaching Girls, Reviving an Art
In 2005, the strongest earth-quake in a century struck the city of Muzaffarabad, in the mountains on the Pakistan side of Kashmir. After the relief efforts, PODA, an NGO focusng on young women and girls, opened the Artisan Support Center to help restore livelihood activities and preserve art forms unique to the region.
