Join GFC in Building a Better World on #GivingTuesday
The Global Fund for Children has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving on November 29, 2016. #GivingTuesday is now an annual tradition, harnessing the collective power of people, communities, and organizations to encourage and celebrate generosity worldwide.
After the retail blitz of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday offers a shift from “getting” to “giving.” You can make #GivingTuesday matter by joining in this global moment with GFC and showing your support for transforming the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Here are simple, easy actions you can take to do good this #GivingTuesday:
- GIVE: Make a gift to GFC and create a brighter future for children and their families. Your #GivingTuesday gift can help send a little girl to school, give kids a safe place to stay, and provide lifesaving protection from threats like human trafficking.
- SHARE: Share why you care this #GivingTuesday! Tell your social networks why you stand with vulnerable children and GFC’s cause and why you give. Spread the word on Facebook, Twitter and other social channels. Take an #unselfie–a picture showing you and what you care about.
No gift, no action is too small. Whether you spread the word about GFC’s vital cause for children, or make a gift that works directly in underserved communities, both will mean the world for the children fighting against the odds in tough places around the world.
