How to Apply for a Books for Kids Donation

SHARING THE MAGIC OF BOOKS THROUGH THE BOOKS FOR KIDS PROGRAM

If your community-based organization is interested in receiving a donation of Global Fund for Children books, please provide the following information on your organization’s letterhead. While your responses need not be lengthy, all issues should be thoroughly addressed.

1. Contact person’s name and email address; the name, address, phone number, fax number, and website address (if applicable) of your organization.
2. Mission and goals of your organization.
3. Number of children and young people served by your organization, including information such as gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic situation, and age range.
4. The ways in which a donation of Global Fund for Children books will impact the population with which you work.
5. Activities or special projects you may implement to enhance the books’ messages.
6. Amount of and titles of books and resource guides requested and your intended distribution method.
7. Your impressions of Global Fund for Children books and materials.
8. The names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three individuals outside of your organization who are familiar with your organization and its work, and whom we could contact for references.
