We exceed industry standards
According to Charity Navigator, The Global Fund for Children has met or exceeded industry standards for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency for nine consecutive years. We’re proud to be at the top.

We keep our costs low
For fiscal year 2012–2013, 84 percent of our total spending went directly to program activities. The remaining 16 percent covered general, administrative, and fundraising costs. This is well below the national average of 25 percent for such expenses.

2012–2013 Annual Report

This year marks The Global Fund for Children’s 18th year of investing in innovation and changing children’s lives.

Highlights from the last fiscal year:

  • We invested in 282 organizations in 59 countries through grants valued at $4.1 million.
  • We leveraged more than $2.2 million in additional funds for our grantee partners.
  • We awarded $268,000 in competitive Sustainability Awards to 9 outstanding organizations.
